Client Agreement
These are the plain-English terms YourBrand works to. Ticking the box on the request form means you've read them. Nothing is charged until you approve your quote.
1. What we'll build
YourBrand will design and build your website as agreed in your quote (and shown in your demo, if you had one). Your quote lists the plan, pages and features included. It includes up to two rounds of changes before launch; bigger changes after that are quoted first.
2. Payment
- A 50% deposit of the set-up fee, paid by bank transfer, starts the work. Bank details are on your quote.
- The remaining 50% is due when your site goes live.
- Your monthly plan starts from the go-live date and is paid monthly by bank transfer or standing order.
3. Timescales
We aim to have your site live within 7 days of receiving everything we need (photos, prices, logo and wording). Delays in getting this to us will move the launch date.
4. Your monthly plan
- Covers hosting, security (SSL), backups and up to 30 minutes of changes each month.
- No minimum term. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
- If payment is more than 30 days late, the site may be paused until it's brought up to date.
5. Ownership
Your domain name, content, photos and logo belong to you. If you cancel, we'll help you move your content and domain elsewhere. The site design and code stay with YourBrand unless agreed otherwise in writing.
6. Your content
You confirm you have the right to use any photos, logos and text you send us. We'll only use them for your website and, with your permission, to show our work.
7. Refunds
If you cancel before we start building, your deposit is refunded in full. Once work has started, the deposit covers work already done and isn't refundable.
8. Your details
We keep the details you give us only to build and look after your website and to contact you about it. We never sell or share them.
